Abstract:  Observations on the evolution of Rome's hotels and receptive structures between the nineteenth and twentieth century: a conversation with Giuseppe Ciaceri   The interview with Giuseppe Ciaceri, member of a family with a long tradition in Rome’s hotel business and himself a leading figure in the field for over thirty years, presents an opportunity for reviewing how the organizational aspects of the business evolved through the eyes of one of its principal players, especially when considering the period following the Second World War.
