The Fifth Conference of AISU will be held in Rome on 8-9-10 September 2011. It is dedicated to the theme "Out of the ordinary: the city facing disasters and exceptional occurrences”.
Reserved for "call for sessions”, the first phase will end on October 10. All are invited to propose a theme for a possible sub-session to be located inside the five "main session", as indicated in the following list. Each proposal must be addressed to

Once completed the "call for sessions”, from next November on, what will begin is the phase of “call for papers" devoted to individual suggestions of single intervention. The deadline in this case, is scheduled to January 2011. Registration for the conference has to be filled up on the website.
Everybody can attend the conference: both scholars and students, speakers and auditors, members or not members of the AISU, according to the same mode but with different shares.
